TIME’S FOOL COMPANY

A theatre without walls and imagination without limits

“I believe that in a great city, or even a small city, or a village, a great theatre is the outward and visible sign of an inward and probable culture.” - Sir Lawrence Olivier

We at Time’s Fool Company believe every community should have its own theatre. The art and culture we cultivate is a lasting legacy to future generations. We know that art can transform communities by improving public health (watching theatre with others lowers your blood pressure) and energizes business districts (for every dollar we spend making theatre, 1.6 dollars is returned to the community).

ART = HUMAN RIGHT

At Time’s Fool Company we believe that art is a human right.

The clearest and most direct way we can uphold this belief is by creating greater access to the arts.

We achieve access by two means: cost and space.

Our summer Shakespeare event is free (donations always appreciated).

We believe that families and all people should be able to afford to see high quality, professional theatre.

We also create work in public, shared, found, and community-driven spaces in the hope that all can feel and be welcome.
