Theatre without walls, imagination without limits
At Timeβs Fool Company we believe that art is a human right.
We strive to redefine access through eliminating cost barriers and rethinking space.
Our summer Shakespeare production is always free (donations appreciated), and our ticketed events are either free or pay-what-you-can. We also create work in public, shared, found, and community-driven spaces in the hope that all can feel and be welcome.
We believe that every community should have its own theatre. The art and culture we cultivate is a lasting legacy to future generations. We know that art can transform communities by improving public health and strengthening local economies. Watching theatre with others lowers your blood pressure and decreases your risk of heart disease, dementia, and depression. Theatre also energizes business districts. For every dollar we spend making theatre, 1.6 dollars is returned to the community.
