Oral storytelling can bring communities together and help each other share our collective humanity. We gain a deeper understanding of other people’s perspectives and experiences and that in turn sheds light on our own. We wanted to create an opportunity for our community to gather together and listen to our neighbors weave tales and share their truths - the funny, heartwarming, profound, and many times universal.

Our inaugural storytelling event was held in February at Heirloom Market, themed “Tales of Love.”

The next Stories on Main will be held in June for Pride Month.
